Integrating analytical skills and creative thinking.
Memories of Justin’s first flight are still vivid, even though he was just three years old at the time. The choice of aerospace engineering at the Delft University of Technology was therefore an obvious one. Justin developed a distinct interest in air traffic management during his studies, making MovingDot a logical choice for an internship on air traffic control tower systems. He continued his academic education by graduating at the Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) on the subject of “Inbound Priority Sequencing”. Following his graduation, he re-joined the MovingDot team. Justin’s drive and analytical skills are complemented with creative thinking, resulting in innovative results.
Within MovingDot, Justin has a wide scope. His knowledge varies from airport ground operations, to flight handling in the upper airspace. Currently, Justin is responsible for organising real-time simulations for the Dutch Airspace Redesign Programme. In the past, Justin did various projects for Schiphol Airport, such as the development of the Sustainable Taxiing Programme. Other work include interim roles, where he was the operational representative for the planning and execution of runway maintenance.
In his spare time Justin coaches rowing crews and is actively involved in national and international rowing events. He also stays physically active himself, by swimming, cycling and playing tennis.
