Basem, who is originally from Palestine, obtained his master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Delft. He had the experience in living in many countries, such as Syria, Kenya, Lebanon, Austria, and the Netherlands. He developed interest in the aviation world since a young age and decided to follow the Aerospace Engineering master in the Netherlands to fulfill the ambition he had at a young age. During his master’s, he specialized in Control and Simulation, where his thesis focused on the Motion Sickness in the Flying-V. Basem decided to pursue a career in Air Traffic Management, because he found it interesting, and he found the opportunity to work on multiple projects that are related to aviation to be very appealing, therefore, he started as Air Traffic Management Expert at MovingDot.
In his spare time, Basem enjoys watching and playing football, listening to music, spending time with family and friends.
