From an early age, Mees was a big fan of aeroplanes. His father travelled a lot for work and always took a small model plane with him as a souvenir. He now has two shelves full of planes. Partly because of this, he became a big fan of aviation and wanted to know everything about planes.
During his studies, he immersed himself in more sectors than just aviation: yacht building, offshore wind energy and even coating robots is something Mees can talk a lot about! In 2023, he completed his Aeronautical Engineering studies in Delft. His interest in aviation is so strong and that is what brought him to MovingDot as an ATM specialist.
Besides his studies, Mees was very active as a rower, rowing coach, (indoor) footballer and you can find him in the stands at every Feyenoord home game. Besides, you can always make him happy with a good bottle of wine, or even better, a wine tasting!
