Throughout his career, Hans has learned that sustainable safety in air traffic management develops where analysis, professional practice, systems thinking, and safety culture come together. By approaching safety as an integral part of operations – rather than merely a rule-driven discipline – he makes a substantive contribution to strengthening and sustaining excellent safety performance.
Work is one of his hobbies. In addition, he enjoys travelling, dining at good restaurants, and spending quality time with the grandchildren.
