Innovative and entrepreneurial (unmanned) aviation expert.
A combination of aviation and innovation brings Toby to our Unmanned Aviation domain. Since 2025, he started at MovingDot bringing new and fresh expertise in bridging the gap between Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM).
Toby studied Aviation Engineering at the Amsterdam University of Applied sciences, in which he specialized in Flight Operations Engineering. After his period at KLM’s Flight Operations, he moved his focus to the unmanned aviation industry where he gained experience in the legal, operational and technical aspects of airspace integration.
At MovingDot he is involved as Sr. UTM/ATM expert in several projects for e.g. CAAs, ANSPs, and also acts as project lead. Furthermore, he leads and develops the unmanned aviation domain further, together with colleagues from different areas of expertise.
While he often spends time in the Schiphol area for work, he lives in Arnhem near the national park the Hoge Veluwe. In his free time, he often takes a walk with his girlfriend and dog, and enjoys a nice lunch or dinner outside, or lights the BBQ for a nice piece of meat.
