Safe and efficient integration of unmanned aviation
Unmanned aviation is evolving and creating new opportunities across sectors such as logistics, emergency services, defense and infrastructure inspection. At the same time, the increasing number and complexity of drone operations requires careful integration into existing ATM ecosystem to ensure safety, efficiency and public acceptance.
MovingDot supports governments, (aviation) authorities, airports and other stakeholders in addressing these challenges. We combine expertise from conventional aviation, air traffic management and the unmanned aviation to help organisations develop strategies, operational concepts and policy frameworks for the integration of drone operations.
Our work spans the full spectrum from strategic advisory and policy development to operational implementation. - Policy and strategy development: Supporting governments and authorities in developing policy frameworks and long-term strategies for unmanned aviation.
- U-space and UTM implementation: Development of U-space concepts, operational frameworks and implementation into controlled and uncontrolled (U-space) airspace.

Project highlights
Implementing BVLOS corridor
The BVLOS test area on the North Sea is an important initiative for enabling Beyond Visual Line of Sight drone operations in the Netherlands. MovingDot plays a leading role in the design and implementation of this dedicated test area. Our work includes project management, operational concepts, airspace design and coordination with key stakeholders.
UTM support ANSP
MovingDot supports the Dutch ANSP LVNL for several years in shaping and implementing its drone programme, including strategy and UTM implementation. Our work includes key building blocks such as the development of Common Information Service and wider UTM capabilities.
(Pre) U-space implementation
The Pre U-space project in the Port of Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands’ leading initiatives for the safe and scalable integration of drones in complex operational airspace. MovingDot plays a leading role in the design and Airspace Risk Assessment. The project creates valuable experience for future U-space developments.
