Sustainable Taxiing Schiphol
MovingDot supported Schiphol-sector with sustainable taxiing. On 6 December 2022, an aircraft taxied from Schiphol-Centre to a platform near the Zwanenburgbaan, without the aircraft engines running. This was made possible by using a TaxiBot, which is a semi-robotic taxiing system.
Dutch Airspace Redesign

Bridging the gap
Air traffic management is a domain characterised by stringent requirements and the utmost professionalism. Our clients possess considerable in-house expertise and operate at a high level of proficiency. So, what makes our contribution truly valuable? The air traffic management sector comprises a diverse array of organisations, each with a distinct role. We recognize that any change within this landscape seldom occurs in isolation; it invariably influences or depends upon other stakeholders, being neighbouring control centres, regulatory bodies, or other entities within the broader ecosystem. At MovingDot, we excel in forging connections and bridging divides. Our mission is to demystify complexity and facilitate seamless interactions—whether between external stakeholders, internal teams, or the interface between policy and operational practice. Furthermore, we are committed to offering an innovative, objective perspective that adds genuine value to every project.
The operational concept is the foundation
When supporting you, we typically adopt a top-down methodology, commencing with a comprehensive analysis of the issue at hand. We ensure that any solution is firmly anchored in your overarching vision and strategy, and can assist in both defining and refining these, should you require. We are convinced that robust and integrated solutions begin with a carefully crafted operational concept—whether the objective is to introduce new procedures, deploy a fresh system, or adapt to newly established policies and regulations. Only after this crucial foundation is in place do we move forward to the design and implementation of solutions, procedures, or measures. Throughout this entire journey, we are equipped to serve as both your guide and your dedicated partner.
We like to work with you
Our team comprises experts with diverse and complementary backgrounds—including operational specialists such as air traffic controllers and pilots, senior management from ANSPs and government bodies, as well as academics in fields like aerospace engineering and educational sciences. What truly differentiates us is our collaborative ethos: we prefer to work alongside you, rather than merely for you. Thanks to our varied experience, we consistently prioritise operational practicality, ensuring that concepts are not left on paper but are thoughtfully transformed into effective, real-world solutions.
