The unmanned aviation sector is constantly changing. Whether it concerns enabling authorized drone traffic outside the pilot’s field of vision (BVLOS), dealing with unauthorized drone traffic in the CTRs, or the implementation of U-space airspace; Developments follow each other in rapid succession.
To expand MovingDot’s unmanned aviation domain, we are looking for a UTM/ATM expert who is enthusiastic and innovative and can contribute to the integration of manned and unmanned aviation in the airspace.
What do we expect from you?
As a UTM/ATM expert, you are actively involved in one or more MovingDot projects, usually as part of a project team. These projects are usually located at the intersection between manned and unmanned aviation for large clients such as air traffic control services or aviation authorities. It is precisely where these worlds come together that MovingDot plays an important role in providing realistic operational advice and implementations.
We train you with a combination of (technical) specialization in the unmanned aviation domain and project skills. Depending on your own ambition and the needs of MovingDot, this will primarily take place in the unmanned aviation domain, where you will work closely with your colleagues.
What do you bring?
As a UTM/ATM expert, you have operational and technical knowledge of (parts of) the ATM and UTM system and you fulfill an important substantive role, in which analytical and conceptual thinking and acting are paramount. Working on location at the client to carry out concrete, project-based assignments is also part of the job. Independence, an eye for the wishes and needs of the client and the ability to work together in multidisciplinary projects are important here.
What else is important?
- You have WO/HBO working and thinking level
- Knowledge of EASA, FAA, ICAO laws and regulations
- Good social and communication skills for maintaining contacts
- Written and oral expression skills in Dutch and English
