Dedicated, hard-working and easy-going
Guus is a recent graduate with a dual Master’s degree from Cranfield- and Twente University in the field of human factors. He has a strong interest in the management of human behaviour in complex circumstances and is looking to contribute to the human performance side of MovingDot.
During his internship, Guus worked on a project that helped operationalize the automation philosophy used in the transitional process towards trajectory-based operations for ATM in the Netherlands. Through the use of a scientific method known as cognitive work analysis, he was able to shed light on the potential future role of the air traffic controller in this concept of operations.
In his free time, whether it is sports or e-sports, Guus can often be found enjoying the thrill of friendly competition to help stay in shape and keep his mind sharp.
