The FABEC partners work together to deliver a performance-based air transport route network through much of Europe\u00b4s busy airspace. &nbsp;The immense traffic demand combined with the complex European airspace traffic flows can result in severe delays in the air route system and re-routing of many aircraft on longer routes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vooral het luchtruim bij Diekirch (Luxemburg) \u2013 dat voornamelijk onder de verantwoordelijkheid van Eurocontrol Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) valt \u2013 is in het bijzonder een uitdagend gebied met vele verkeersstroom-, route- en operationele interacties met aangrenzende centers in Duitsland, Belgi\u00eb, Frankrijk en Luxemburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De luchtruimcomplexiteit beperkt op dit moment de capaciteit, en moet worden verminderd om groei aan te kunnen. Ook moet het luchtruim worden aangepast om ruimte te bieden aan nieuwe concepten, zoal het Point Merge System voor verkeer met bestemming Charles de Gaulle (CDG) en voor het cre\u00ebren van nieuwe militaire Cross Border Training Areas (CBAs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MovingDot speelde een instrumentele rol in het samenbrengen van zeven ANSPs \u2013 4 civiele en 3 militaire organisaties \u2013 om de meest uitdagende issues te identificeren en zowel operationele als politieke oplossingsrichtingen te ontwikkelen.
